Kings Canyon (Pt. 1)

In July I finally got out to Kings Canyon National Park, one of the last national parks in southern California for me to get. The trip gave me a second chance to use my new Nikon Coolpix AW100. Though I was still getting used to it, I did manage to snap a few shots I like. Lately, I've been focusing a little more on texture than sweeping landscapes. That's even more apparent in the black and white series from Kings Canyon that I'll be posting next week. For now, I hope you enjoy these color photos.
